Veteran Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi is back on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, after staying away for years. The 60-year-old star shared his excitement about reconnecting with fans, critics, and supporters as he reflects on his four-decade journey in the film industry.
In his comeback post, Pancholi wrote: “After 40 Years in Bollywood… I’m Here. 112 characters. 112 roles. Countless memories. I am Aditya Pancholi, stepping into the world of X to connect with You my audience, my critics, my supporters, and my companions through this 4-decade journey. From 1985 till now, you’ve seen me in reel life. Now, let’s engage for real. Stories. & Conversations. I Flashbacks. And yes something new.”
To mark the moment, he also posted a nostalgic video clip from his early days in Bollywood, giving fans a glimpse into his past.
This return echoes a family pattern. Back in 2017, Pancholi’s son, actor Sooraj Pancholi, shut down his X account amid serious accusations from Kangana Ranaut, who alleged abuse and stalking by Aditya. Sooraj bounced back to the platform in 2018, tweeting: “Hello everyone. So here’s the first tweet from my official handle! Feels good to be back on Twitter! Missed you guys.”
Pancholi kicked off his acting career in the mid-1980s and has starred in over 100 films across action, drama, and more genres. He landed his big break with a supporting role in Feroz Khan’s 1988 hit “Dayavan,” sharing the screen with Vinod Khanna and Madhuri Dixit. That same year, he appeared in “Dharamyudh” alongside Sunil Dutt, Suresh Oberoi, and Shatrughan Sinha. Soon after, he grabbed his first lead role in “Kab Tak Chup Rahungi” opposite Amala, directed by K.C. Bokadia, which solidified his spot as a leading man in Bollywood.
Fans remember him for standout performances in movies like “Baaghi,” “Yes Boss,” “Musafir,” “Race 2,” and his supporting turn in the epic historical drama “Bajirao Mastani.” Outside of acting, Pancholi has dipped into film production, adding another layer to his Bollywood legacy.
