An NYPD report said a 49‑year‑old man was murdered and a woman is still battling for her life after both were brutally stabbed several times inside a Brooklyn residence on Thursday night.
The attack took place at 1277 East 69th Street in Bergen Beach around 7:30 p.m. Police found Juan Manuel Galicia and an unnamed 49‑year‑old woman lying on the floor, covered in numerous stab wounds.
They rushed the victims to One Brooklyn Health‑Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in critical condition. Galicia was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
A female victim remains in critical condition.
Police have not revealed any link between the two. No arrests have been made, and the suspect is still at large.
Authorities are looking for a male suspect who was seen at the scene wearing blue pants and a white hooded sweatshirt, approximately 5’6″ in height. The investigation is still underway.
