A 16‑year‑old was attacked with a knife on a Queens MTA bus this Tuesday, police officials said. The teenager was riding the Q25 route at about 3:50 p.m. when someone stepped from the back door and plunged a blade into his stomach.
Authorities called the assailant “unknown” and said the boy didn’t recognize the attacker. The teen was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where doctors put him in stable condition.
Investigators only have a rough description of the suspect: someone aged between 20 and 30, last seen wearing a purple coat and blue jeans. However, sources have indicated that the perpetrator may have been a woman. The identity of the attacker remains unknown, and no suspect has been taken into custody as of Wednesday.
