Shocking video footage shows a small plane speeding low over the ground before slamming into an industrial park in Mexico, killing a popular TV host and her flight instructor during what was supposed to be an exciting flying lesson.
The crash happened Saturday in Garcia, a city in the northeastern state of Nuevo Leon. Mexican TV host Debora Estrella, 43, and pilot Bryan Leonado Ballesteros Argueta died on impact, reports say. Estrella, a beloved presenter on Teledario Matutino, had just shared her thrill about the lesson on social media.
Moments before the tragedy, Estrella posted an Instagram photo from Apodaca’s Aeropuerto Internacional del Norte. “Guess what?” she wrote in Spanish, hinting at her first flying adventure with a snap of the aircraft.

Ground video captured the heart-stopping scene: the plane hurtling through the sky at breakneck speed, dipping dangerously low, then vanishing as it hit the Parque Industrial Ciudad Mitras. No one else was hurt, according to local officials.
Authorities jumped into action right away. The General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics and the state prosecutor’s office launched probes to figure out what caused the deadly plane crash in Mexico. Families and fans are mourning the loss of Estrella, who brought energy and smiles to morning TV viewers.
