
Mumbai, Nov 8 – Veteran actress Revathy has teamed up with singer and composer Sayonara Philip, calling her a “bundle of talent” on Instagram. In a series of studio photos, Revathy praised Philip’s recent Kerala State Award and said working together feels like a “special pleasure.” “Sayonara … a bundle of talent. She can sing, compose, write, give voice. The Kerala State Award shows that. What a special woman she is!!! Such a pleasure to work with @sayanoraphilip… coming up soon,” Revathy wrote.
The actress also hinted at another collaboration, this time with friends Parvathy Thiruvothu, Resul Pookutty and Shankar Ramakrishnan. After sharing pictures from a dubbing studio, she wrote, “There are times we get to work with friends, turning work into absolute pleasure… with @par_vathy, @resulpookutty and Shankar Ramakrishnan… coming up soon.” Details remain under wraps.
Revathy—one of South India’s most celebrated actresses—will soon appear in the political action thriller Jana Nayagan. The film stars Vijay, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol, and is billed as Vijay’s final on‑screen role before he enters politics. “Jana Nayagan” is the first Tamil production by KVN and is set to hit theaters on 9 January 2026.
With three National Film Awards and a Kerala State Film Award for her role in Bhoothakaalam, Revathy remains a powerhouse in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. In Hindi film, she featured last in The Diplomat (2024), directed by Shivam Nair, which explores India–Pakistan diplomacy through John Abraham’s and Sadia Khateeb’s performances.
