World aware of nexus between terrorists, Pakistani State and military: MEA

India has once again slammed Pakistan for backing terrorists, pointing out that the world knows all too well about the deep ties between the Pakistani government, its military, and terror groups running operations from there. This sharp response came amid fresh videos showing leaders of outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) admitting heavy losses from Indian strikes.

During a weekly media briefing in New Delhi, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal addressed questions about those viral videos. “The world clearly sees the nexus between terrorists, the Pakistani state, and its military,” Jaiswal said. “These statements from them just make it even more obvious.”

The comments follow a shocking admission from JeM commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri in a social media video. Flanked by armed men, he revealed how India’s Operation Sindoor devastated the group. This operation targeted terror hubs after the brutal Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 26 innocent lives. India hit back hard, destroying key sites of JeM and LeT in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Pakistan itself confirmed that Indian forces struck nine locations, including Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muridke—well-known hotspots for cross-border terrorism. Bahawalpur, Pakistan’s 12th largest city, serves as a major base for JeM, with its headquarters at Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah, also called the Usman-o-Ali campus.

In the video, Kashmiri spoke to a crowd, defending their “terrorism” as a fight for Pakistan’s borders. He even claimed, “After giving everything, on May 7, Maulana Masood Azhar’s family—including his women and children—got killed and torn to shreds in Bahawalpur.” This refers to the strikes on JeM founder Masood Azhar’s family during the operation on their Markaz Taiba base in Muridke.

Jaiswal didn’t stop there. He stressed the global push to fight international terrorism and cross-border threats. “Look at any document from forums like BRICS or SCO—they all back strong action against terrorism,” he added. “We urge the world to ramp up efforts to crush terrorism everywhere it hides.”

India’s firm stance highlights the ongoing battle against Pakistan-sponsored terror groups like JeM and LeT, which have long fueled attacks across the border. As the world watches, calls for tougher measures against such networks grow louder.
