Lazio has confirmed it is not in talks to sell the club to an investor group from Qatar.
Club officials said the rumours about a Qatari‑backed takeover were unfounded and that the current ownership structure is secure.

The news comes after a wave of speculation that foreign funds, notably those linked to Qatar, were watching the Roman side for a potential purchase. Lazio’s president reassured fans that there will be no change of ownership, stressing that the team is focused on improving performance on the field rather than on a change of hands.

Football analysts note that Lazio’s financial position is stable, and that a sale to an external group would involve complex negotiations. The club’s leadership has also made clear that any future investment would need to align with the club’s long‑term vision and Italian football regulations.

In the meantime, Lazio will continue competing in Serie A and European competitions, with the current board maintaining its stance: no sale, no Qatari funds involved.
