Yogi Adityanath to Inspect UP International Trade Show Preparations in Greater Noida
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath heads to Greater Noida today to check the final setups for the much-awaited UP International Trade Show. This big event kicks off on September 25 at the India Expo Mart and promises to spotlight the state’s booming industries.
The organizing team and local administration have pulled out all stops to get everything ready. Yogi Adityanath will tour the venue this afternoon, inspect the exhibition areas, and chat with officials in a key review meeting. He’ll focus on security, traffic flow, parking, and smooth arrangements for guests, especially foreign delegates.
Why does this matter? The UP International Trade Show 2024 stands out as a major boost for Uttar Pradesh’s economy. Over 2,500 exhibitors from sectors like handicrafts, textiles, agriculture, IT, and startups will showcase their products and services. Russia joins as the partner country, paving the way for stronger India-Russia trade ties and fresh business deals.
Security takes center stage with tight measures in place. Police have ramped up presence across Greater Noida and nearby spots, deploying more than 1,000 officers from other districts. PAC units stand guard, and the entire Expo Mart complex stays under constant watch. Officials emphasize extra vigilance to ensure everything runs safely.
Organizers call this edition—the third UPITS from September 25 to 29—a golden chance to flaunt Uttar Pradesh’s industrial growth and entrepreneurial vibe. It doubles as a flagship B2B and B2C platform, drawing industries, exporters, and global leaders to network, innovate, and unlock new markets.
This visit fits Yogi Adityanath’s recent focus on the Noida-Greater Noida area. Just last month in August, he joined Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to launch a new manufacturing unit there. Expect the trade show to not only elevate UP’s global image but also spark investments and job opportunities for locals.
