Mumbai, Nov 23 – Jennifer Lopez turned heads in a stunning pink lehenga as she arrived at the grand wedding of Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju in Udaipur. She was snapped beside the bride’s father, Raj Mantena, an Indian‑born billionaire who now lives in the U.S. and is often called the “US pharma king.” Mantena earned a computer‑science engineering degree from JNTU in India before going to the United States to study pharmacy. In 2005 he launched P4 Healthcare, and his company Ingenus Pharmaceuticals has become a household name in the U.S. for producing affordable, high‑quality medicines. Their marriage, with its glittering festivities, has captured the public’s imagination.
On the entertainment front, Lopez is set to star in the film adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman.” She recently opened up about her approach to the role on the Howard Stern Show, where Stern praised her performance and complimented her hair. In the movie she plays Ingrid Luna, a character who adopts a platinum‑blonde look. As reported by People, the story follows two inmates in a restrictive South American prison—a Marxist revolutionary (played by Diego Luna) and a gay window dresser (Tonatiuh) confined for “immoral behaviour.” They escape reality by entertaining themselves with a Hollywood musical starring the fictional star Ingrid Luna.
“I like you as a platinum blonde”, Stern, 71, said. “I know you were thinking I don’t want to be (blonde) in the movie.” JLo replied, “It was so different. I was just worried because I’d never had platinum blonde hair.” She said she had tried blonde wigs before but found they clashed with her skin tone. Still, she embraced the change, noting it required a whole transformation—she had to add more pink to her foundation—and admitted that the usual lipsticks she wore wouldn’t complement that hair shade.
