At the 2025 Filmfare Awards in Mumbai, Bollywood star Kajol took to social media to share a heartfelt video of her night with Shah Rukh Khan and director Karan Johar. She called the evening “magical and imperfectly perfect,” echoing the feel of their classic 90s movies.

Kajol dressed a stunning Manish Malhotra sari that reminded fans of the “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” song. In the reel, she and SRK walked hand‑in‑hand on stage, dancing to their biggest hits. They spun to “Sooraj Hai Maddham” from Kabhi Khushi…Kabhi Gham, then sang “Ladki Badi Anjaani Hai” from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, finishing with the iconic “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.” The crowd went wild, and Karan Johar joined the duo near the end for a group hug and laughter.

During the event, SRK reminded the audience that Kajol had been very ill but still flew to Ahmedabad to perform. “She said yes instantly, and I’m so grateful to her,” he said, earning cheers from the crowd.

Kajol’s story echoed with behind‑the‑scenes snaps, a nostalgic black‑and‑white photo of her and SRK holding their early Filmfare trophies, and a warm hug with Anupam Kher. The night was a visual treat for fans of the legendary Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and a reminder of the magic that still lives in Bollywood’s greatest films.
