Makers of the upcoming comedy flick Mastiii 4 dropped its teaser on Tuesday, promising a wild ride for fans of the beloved Masti franchise. Director Milap Zaveri shared that he’s cranked up the “madness to an all-new level” in this latest installment.
Milap, who wrote the first two Masti films, called directing Mastiii 4 a “full-circle moment.” He praised original director Indra Kumar for setting the comedy gold standard with the earlier movies. “I’m honored to carry that legacy forward in my style,” Milap said. “Get ready for bigger entertainment, more drama, total chaos, and non-stop laughs. The teaser offers just a sneak peek of the fun heading to theaters.”
The Masti series kicked off back in 2004 with Indra Kumar at the helm. That sex comedy starred Ajay Devgn, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Amrita Rao, Tara Sharma, and Genelia. It led to sequels like Grand Masti and Great Grand Masti, building a huge fanbase for its hilarious antics.
Mastiii 4 reunites the iconic trio of Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani. Fresh faces joining them include Shreya Sharma, Ruhii Singh, and Elnaaz Norouzi. The movie hits theaters on November 21, and Bollywood comedy lovers are already buzzing about it.
Producer Shikha Karan Ahluwalia from Waveband Production emphasized their goal: “We craft films that pull audiences into a world of pure fun and stories. Filmed in the UK and Mumbai, the teaser showcases the film’s grand production and Milap’s signature touch for crowd-pleasing entertainers. Zee Studios and Waveband Production lead the project, teaming up with Maruti International and Balaji Telefilms. Producers include A. Jhunjhunwala and Shikha Karan Ahluwalia from Waveband, Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria from Maruti International, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor from Balaji Motion Pictures, and Umesh Bansal.
