Palak, visibly thrilled, has been posting a flood of pictures from the pre‑wedding celebrations, especially since her brother‑in‑law, singer Palash Muchhal, is set to tie the knot on November 23.
On Saturday, Palak shared photos of herself, her lyricist husband Mithoon, and the would‑be bride and groom, all dressed in stunning shades of purple. She captioned one of the shots: “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge…” 🌈 and added a “Purple heart emoticons”. The next image bore the caption: “#SmritiWeds. Palash @mithoon11”. Earlier, she posted several snapshots from the Haldi ceremony that took place on November 21. One photo shows Palak wiping the turmeric paste on Palash’s face, her eyes glistening with emotion. In another frame she’s her usual self, standing beside Mithoon with a bright smile.
For those unaware, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended personal congratulations to the couple with a formal letter. In his message, he wrote:
“It is delightful to learn about the wedding of Smriti and Palaash, which is to be held on November 23, 2025. Heartiest congratulations and greetings to the Mandhana and Muchhal families on the auspicious and joyous occasion.”
The letter continued:
“Walking hand in hand through every season of life, may the couple find strength in each other’s presence, and may their hearts, minds and souls be in harmony. May their dreams intertwine and grow together, guiding them toward a future filled with joy and deep understanding.”
Adding further wishes, the PM wrote:

He also expressed his hope for the couple’s future success:
