Paris Hilton says she built her own success, despite her family’s huge wealth.
The 44‑year‑old reality star and daughter of Rick and Kathy Hilton, who together own hundreds of millions, told The Times that she has “done this all on my own. No one’s ever given me anything in my entire life.”
Her company, which employs about 25 people, is reportedly worth around $1 billion according to Female First UK.
Hilton points out that her late grandfather, hotel magnate Barron Hilton, praised her work ethic and considered her “the hardest‑working CEO I know.” The two often laughed about the family name shift—from “Barron Hilton” to “Paris Hilton’s grand‑pa.”
The entrepreneur’s private life also plays into her public image. She has two toddlers, Phoenix (2) and London (17 months), born via surrogacy with her husband, investor Carter Reum. She hopes the children grow up with her entrepreneurial streak but doesn’t want them to become social‑media influencers.
Speaking about life after fame, Hilton said the birth of her children made her think more about mortality. “I’m obsessed with longevity,” she explained. The 2024 “wellness and longevity centre” she plans for her home will feature pink rooms, crystals, and a high‑tech spa vibe aimed at extending life and enhancing well‑being.
When asked about fears, Hilton admitted she’s not scared of most things except spiders, bees, and dying. “If it was just nothing, which I know it’s not, that would be so boring,” she laughed.
