Mumbai – 27 November (LatestNewsX) Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan paid tribute to late super‑star Dharmendra at the prayer gathering held in Mumbai on Thursday. The actor was spotted driving into the venue, and earlier that day his son, first‑time director Aryan Khan, also made an appearance. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her husband Abhishek followed suit, joining the assembly to remember the veteran.
Salman Khan arrived a few hours later, arriving by car. When Dharmendra died on 24 November, Salman and Abhishek were among the very first film artistes to reach the cremation site to offer their final respects. Abhishek came with his father, Amitabh Bachchan, while Salman arrived solo. Shah Rukh and Aamir also visited the crematorium on 24 November to say goodbye.
The evening of 27 November saw Sidharth Malhotra and Abhay Deol visiting the prayer meet as well.
Dharmendra’s passing on 24 November shocked the nation; the actor, who was 89, would have celebrated a 90th birthday on 8 December. On 27 November, his wife Hema Malini shared an emotional note bidding farewell.
