Mumbai, Nov 15 – Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan just turned a dream into reality when a luxury property in Dubai was officially named after him. The star posted a heartfelt thank‑you on social media, saying the honor is “humbling and deeply touching.” He added that Dubai is a city that celebrates ambition and possibility, and he feels proud to permanently join its skyline.
The announcement happened during a celebratory event in Mumbai. Onstage, SRK and his longtime friend and choreographer‑turned‑director Farah Khan revived the iconic dance from 1998’s Dil Se. The pair, wearing sharp black suits, broke into the signature hook steps of “Chaiyya Chaiyya,” sending fans into a frenzy. The original song was filmed on a moving train and remains one of Shah Rukh Khan’s most beloved stage moments.
For fans, “Chaiyya Chaiyya” still rocks birthday parties and weddings across India. The dance, which featured Malaika Arora, pushed SRK to new heights of charisma and helped launch Farah Khan’s career. Their partnership began in the early 1990s when Farah choreographed many hits that star‑rated Shah Rukh Khan. The duo later teamed up on Main Hoon Na, Farah’s directorial debut starring the superstar in the lead role.
The Dubai developer’s launch highlighted how SRK’s star power transcends borders. The new landmark, officially announced in Mumbai, now carries the Shah Rukh Khan name forever in the city’s skyline — a fitting tribute to one of Bollywood’s most iconic figures.
