India’s head coach Khalid Jamil has announced a 30-player probables squad for the senior men’s national football team, gearing up for the October FIFA International Window. This exciting news comes as the Blue Tigers prepare for crucial AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers.

The training camp kicks off in Bengaluru on September 20, with players arriving a day earlier. One of the biggest highlights? Veteran striker Sunil Chhetri is back in the mix! The 40-year-old legend missed India’s bronze medal win at the recent CAFA Nations Cup, but Jamil made it clear he’s always welcome. "Sunil is a legend of Indian football," Jamil said during the announcement. "I’ve played against him and seen him shine so many times—he’s one of my favorites and a true role model. The door is always open for him."

Adding fresh energy to the Indian football squad are young talents like Mohammed Aimen, Vibin Mohanan, and Muhammed Suhail. These rising stars impressed everyone during the Under-23 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers and now get a shot with the seniors.

Players from Mohun Bagan SG and FC Goa will join later, once their AFC Champions League Two duties wrap up. Plus, five more players are on standby—two from the U23 team and three seniors. We’ll hear their names soon.

This camp is all about getting the Indian national football team ready for two big AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifier matches against Singapore in Group C. First up: October 9 at the National Stadium in Singapore. Then, on October 14, it’s home turf at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, Goa. The final 23-player squad for these games will come straight from this probables list.

Here’s the full breakdown of the 30 probables for the Indian senior men’s team camp:
