Parthsarthi kicked off the round of 32 by facing a tough opener in Swanika Roy. After snatching an early lead and then losing the first three games, the top seed rallied to win seven straight rallies and finish the set 9‑2. Her aggressive baseline play kept her opponents on the back foot and secured her spot in the pre‑quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, third‑seed Akansha Ghosh dispatched Keertama Rangineni with a straight‑set 9‑2 victory. Ghosh’s speed on the court and sharp footwork let her win six consecutive games, putting her firmly ahead from the start.

Riddhi Shinde, the sixth seed, pulled off a surprise win over Aashi Kashyap 9‑4. Shinde broke Kashyap’s serve four times early, then maintained a steady lead to close the match in a single set.

In the girls’ under‑14 bracket, Aniha Gavinolla upset the seventh seed, Eshitha Sriyala, 9‑5. Top seed Padma Rameshkumar also advanced, defeating Shubhi Sharma 9‑3 in the round of 32.

Across the pond, the boys’ under‑16 singles saw top seed Prakaash Sarran sweep Saksham Bhansal 9‑8 (7‑1) in straight sets. Eighth seed Tavish Pahwa beat Puneeth M. 9‑5 to claim a pre‑quarterfinal spot.

The tournament, sponsored by DCM Shriram Ltd. and organized by the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA), highlights India’s rising tennis stars. Winners in the junior categories will receive a kit allowance and a ₹25,000 tennis scholarship, while runners‑up earn the same prize money. The event remains a crucial platform for young players aiming to climb the national rankings and gain international exposure.
