Telangana’s Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, also posted on X, calling the attack a “dastardly attempt” to intimidate the country’s highest judicial figure. He expressed solidarity with Justice Gavai, warning that such cowardly acts must not be tolerated.

The state’s Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan, joined the condemnation, stressing that the assault was “deeply disturbing” and that law and order should prevail over any unjust aggression. He praised the principles of justice found in ancient texts and urged people to remain united behind the Chief Justice’s office.

Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president Jagan Mohan Reddy also spoke out on X, describing the attack as “disgraceful” and an affront to India’s judicial institution. He urged the nation to be “mature and responsible” in defending institutional integrity.

Andhra Pradesh’s Human Resources Development Minister, Nara Lokesh, posted a short note marking the attack as a “shameful and cowardly act.” He echoed calls for a firm response and wished the Chief Justice strength as he continues to uphold constitutional values.

The swift chorus of condemnation from top political leaders highlights that an attack on the Chief Justice of India is not only a personal assault but a threat to the country’s democratic foundations and the rule of law.
