On Nov. 24, a palpable buzz swept through Ayodhya as people awaited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival at 9:30 a.m. to oversee the flag‑hoisting at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple—a moment many feel marks a dream that has spanned centuries.

Local residents call Nov. 25 a day of deep pride for believers of Sanatan Dharma around the world. They see the new Ram Temple not only as a religious milestone but also as a defining chapter in India’s cultural narrative.

Speaking to LatestNewsX, Gyanprakash Dubey told reporters that for Sanatan Dharma followers worldwide the event is “a major moment.” He added, “As long as the Ram Temple stands, Prime Minister Modi’s name will remain immortal alongside it. The development in Ayodhya is extraordinary.”

Siddhant Dubey echoed this sentiment, saying the temple has fulfilled a 500‑year dream. “It became possible because of PM Modi. Sanatan has won. The youth have benefited greatly. Everyone is getting jobs, and young people are working in Ayodhya,” he explained.

Citizens also praised the town’s rapid makeover, noting sweeping upgrades to roads, the railway station, riverfront ghats, and a push toward modern urban living. Many called the progress “beyond excellent,” crediting authorities for preserving Ayodhya’s heritage while ushering in world‑class infrastructure.

Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, confirmed that the flag will unfurl over the temple. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are slated to attend this historic moment.

Rai also revealed that thousands of saints from eastern Uttar Pradesh have been invited and that roughly 7,000 people will witness the ‘Dhwaj’ hoisting.

Gopal Rao, a special invitee to the Trust, explained that a ‘havan’ has been ongoing in the Yagna Mandap for the past four days in preparation for Tuesday’s ceremony. About 100 priests are conducting the ritual while 30 participants engage in related rites at different venues.
