In Patna, political strategist turned Jan Suraaj leader Prashant Kishor kept his Bihar Badlaav Yatra rolling on Friday with a lively public meeting at Sabeya Airport Ground in Hathua block, Gopalganj. He didn’t hold back, firing sharp criticisms at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav while outlining big plans for Bihar’s future.
Kishor took a dig at Rahul Gandhi, saying, “Rahul Gandhi is a big deal—his eyes are on PM Modi and the nation, not Bihar’s youth. He’s from the Prime Minister’s family, son of a former PM. How could someone like me or Bihar even catch his attention? He’s more worried about Lalu Yadav’s son Tejashwi than our state’s problems. But me? I’m all about Bihar’s young people and stopping this endless migration.”
He didn’t spare Lalu Prasad either, adding, “Lalu wants to push his ninth failed son as Bihar’s CM, while our kids head to Gujarat and Maharashtra for work right after school or college. It’s heartbreaking.”
Shifting gears to his own party, Kishor cleared the air on ticket distribution for Jan Suraaj. “We charge Rs 21,000 for applications, but the real power lies with the people—not some party bosses selling seats like in BJP, RJD, or Congress. The public will pick the candidates.”
Kishor then unveiled bold promises if Jan Suraaj takes charge in Bihar. “Starting December 2025, every man and woman over 60 gets a Rs 2,000 monthly pension. Kids up to 15 will enjoy free education in private schools—the government foots the bill. And by year’s end, we’ll bring back 50 lakh youth working outside Bihar and hook them up with local jobs paying Rs 10,000 to 12,000.”
He wrapped up with fire, declaring, “This Diwali and Chhath will be Bihar’s last in misery. From next year, no more migration for low-paying gigs—our youth stay home with dignity.”
Later that evening in Chanpatia, Bettiah, Kishor kicked off his speech in Bhojpuri, sparking huge cheers from the crowd. He hammered home Jan Suraaj’s mission: restoring pride, jobs, and top-notch education to Bihar. The energy was electric as supporters rallied behind his vision for a transformed state.
