Patna, Nov 14 – The NDA alliance keeps winning big in Bihar’s East Champaran district, taking 10 of the 11 Assembly seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
Raxaul – BJP’s Pramod Kumar Sinha beat Congress’s Shyam Bihari Prasad, showing the alliance’s growing strength in the area.
Sugauli – Rajesh Kumar of the Lok Janata Party (LJPRV) won by 58,191 votes over Shyam Kishor Choudhary of the Janshakti Janta Dal (JSJD).
Harsidhi (SC) – A close fight saw BJP’s Krishnandan Paswan edge out Congress’s Rajendra Kumar by 7,095 votes.
Govindganj – State BJP president Raju Tiwari won decisively, defeating Congress’s Shashi Bhushan Rai by 32,683 votes.
Kesaria – JDU’s Shalini Mishra retained her seat, beating VIP’s Varun Vijay by 16,340 votes.
Kalyanpur – Former cabinet minister Maheshwar Hazari of the JDU captured the seat, knocking out CPI‑ML’s Ranjeet Kumar Ram by 38,586 votes.
Pipra – JDU’s Rambilash Kamat triumphed over CPI‑ML’s Anil Kumar.
Madhuban – BJP’s Rana Randhir Singh won against RJD’s Sandhya Rani with a 5,492‑vote margin.
Motihari – BJP’s Pramod Kumar defeated RJD’s Dewa Gupta by 13,563 votes.
Chiraia – BJP’s Lal Babu Prasad Gupta beat RJD’s Laxmi Narayan Prasad Yadav with 39,360 votes.
Dhaka – The lone RJD victory in East Champaran. Faisal Rahman edged BJP’s Pawan Kumar Jaiswal by a razor‑thin 178 votes.
The results underscore BJP’s dominance in Bihar and strengthen the NDA’s foothold in East Champaran, while the RJD still found a foothold in Dhaka.
