Patna, Nov 24 (LatestNewsX) – Tensions in Bihar’s political landscape have reached a new peak after a song performed by artists during Tejashwi Yadav’s campaign stirred controversy.
Governors from the ruling NDA party have launched fierce criticism at the RJD chief, suggesting he’s shifting the blame for his poll results onto others.
Bihar’s agriculture minister, Ram Kripal Yadav, fired a strong rebuke at Tejashwi, calling him out over the way he decried the singers. “What kind of low‑mindedness is this? To blame artists for your defeat reflects the true mentality of the RJD and the Grand Alliance,” he declared. He went on to claim that, after losing public trust, the RJD is spewing unfounded statements out of sheer frustration.
BJP MLA Mithilesh Tiwari from Baikunthpur also struck a direct note. “The artists simply sang what they were given. What is their fault?” the MLA said, adding that the people of Bihar have wholly rejected Tejashwi Yadav’s latest persona. Tiwari took his jibe further: “My advice to Tejashwi Yadav is to first enroll in high school, pass matriculation properly, and then read the biography of Ram Kripal Yadav. Today, Ram Kripal Yadav symbolizes good governance, while Tejashwi Yadav symbolizes bad governance.” He continued that the party is crumbling from the inside, noting that “from sisters leaving home in tears to brothers abandoning the party, and now even artists are being blamed, everyone—district presidents to grassroots workers—is deserting the RJD.” He reminded listeners that simply being Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son does not guarantee power and that public trust along with strong character are essential traits he claims the party lacks.
A dispute that began over a campaign song has now morphed into a full‑blown political showdown. While the RJD portrays the episode as a political plot, NDA leaders frame it as evidence of Tejashwi Yadav’s leadership failure.
