Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marking its 100th anniversary. She highlighted how demographic changes in India pose a greater risk to social harmony than infiltration alone.
In an interview with , Shaina NC stressed the need to protect the Hindu population while pushing for social justice. “I’m glad the PM raised demographic change as a bigger threat to social harmony than infiltration,” she said. “The RSS has always championed national unity and unity in diversity. Social equality means prioritizing justice for the underprivileged, but we can’t ignore our biggest threats right now—infiltration and demographic shifts.”
She continued, “Some people stir up fights over caste and language. We must rise above that by ensuring a strong Hindu population in our country to face any dangers.”
Earlier that day, PM Modi joined the RSS centenary celebrations as the chief guest at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. He warned that India’s unity in diversity—its core strength—faces serious challenges from infiltrators driving demographic shifts. These changes, he said, threaten social harmony and internal security.
“Unity in diversity is India’s soul. If we lose that, the nation weakens,” Modi told the gathering. “Social harmony is under big threat from infiltrators causing demographic change. This affects our security and future. That’s why I announced the Demographic Mission from the Red Fort. We must stay vigilant and tackle this head-on.”
The RSS, founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur, Maharashtra, started as a volunteer group. Its mission focuses on building cultural awareness, discipline, service, and social responsibility among Indians.
