Jaipur, Nov 25 (LatestNewsX) – Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched a vigorous rebuttal against former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday. He alleged that the preceding Congress administration “crushed the dreams of the youth” by permitting a level of irregularity in recruitment exams never seen before.

Sharma pointed out that during the Gehlot tenure, “the Gehlot government crushed the dreams of the youth, leaking 17 out of 19 papers.” He added that officers who served under that government now work in his own cabinet, yet the current system does not suffer from paper leaks. This, he said, shows that the problem lay not with individual employees but with the old regime’s intentions and procedure.

In contrast, Sharma emphasized that his BJP government has introduced fully transparent hiring processes. Citing the latest RAS results, he highlighted the selection of a candidate from a disadvantaged farm‑and‑labour family as proof of the fairness and merit‑based system his administration maintains.

He accused the Gehlot era of nepotism, claiming that “relatives of politicians used to pass,” and stressed that the present administration has restored confidence in the recruitment system.

Presenting what he described as the government’s “23‑month report card,” Sharma outlined the administration’s clear agenda focusing on job creation, infrastructure development, and welfare programmes. He reaffirmed the commitment to delivering millions of employment opportunities to the youth while conducting recruitment drives with unprecedented openness.

Addressing the farming community, the Chief Minister spoke about the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, noting that farmers no longer need to chase officials for updates. Instead, he said, their mobile phones now ring when the honorarium arrives, illustrating the simplicity and efficacy of direct benefit transfers.

Sharma pointed out that the visible development in Pali is just a glimpse of the broader initiatives underway across the state. He commended MLA Pushpendra Singh Ranawat for his efforts to enhance medical education and improve road connectivity in the region.

Concluding, the Chief Minister asserted that the government has taken major strides for youth, farmers, women, and marginalized groups. He predicted that the momentum gained over the past twenty‑three months will carry forward in the years ahead.
