Kolkata, Nov 23 (LatestNewsX) — Following the BJP’s decisive win in the recent Bihar Assembly elections, the party’s central leadership is preparing to launch a major campaign in West Bengal. The plan calls for the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and Home Minister, Amit Shah, to lead a series of high‑profile rallies starting next month, ahead of the 2026 West Bengal polls.
At present, officials intend to hold at least two large rallies each month until the election date is announced. Each month will see one address by Modi and another by Shah. The party’s state president, Samik Bhattacharya, is expected to travel to New Delhi this week to lock in tentative dates and venues; the rallies will be staged in locations that can reach multiple districts simultaneously. Once the polling schedule is confirmed, the frequency of these public meetings will rise.
The BJP is structuring its West Bengal campaign in phases, dividing the state into five organisational zones to streamline operations.
Shortly after the NDA’s sweeping victory in Bihar, party leaders coined the rallying cry: “After Odisha in 2024 and Bihar in 2025, it will be Bengal in 2026.” Political observers note that arranging such prominent rallies months in advance demonstrates that this slogan was more than a motivational chant—it reflects the central leadership’s serious commitment to the West Bengal contest.
Beyond on‑ground campaigning, the state committee stresses a strong digital push. The newly launched, Bengal‑dedicated website “namoyavawarriors.com”—unveiled earlier this month—offers a platform for supporters. Individuals eager to join the BJP’s digital outreach programme for next year’s Assembly elections can register directly on the site.
The website outlines a range of objectives for the campaign, including eradicating corruption, ensuring a transparent recruitment process for state government jobs, and creating a secure academic environment free from ragging, gender‑based violence, and admission‑cut‑money syndicates. It also aims to revive the state’s economic fortunes through fresh investments, entrepreneurial initiatives, skill development, and job creation for youth, while curbing the exodus of skilled workers seeking opportunities elsewhere.
