Prime Minister Narendra Modi will head to Bihar this Sunday for a full‑day election push.
He kicks off the day at 1:30 p.m. in Arrah, speaking at a rally that attracts thousands of voters. Two hours later, at 3:30 p.m., he will speak again in Nawada, continuing his message for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Modi plans to return to Patna around 5 p.m.
Just after his arrival, he will lay flowers at the statue of Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar at 5:25 p.m. Then, at 5:30 p.m., Modi will join a large roadshow in Patna, moving from Dinkar Golambar along Nala Road, Thakurwadi and Bakarganj, supporting NDA candidates.
The roadshow is the highlight of his visit. Patna traffic police will keep several lanes closed from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on key routes—including Dinkar Golambar to Nala Road, Nala Road to Bari Path, and others—to allow the rally to proceed safely. Only emergency, election‑duty, and authorized vehicles are allowed during the restriction. Parking for the public and party workers will be set up at Gandhi Maidan, Patna Science College, Patna College, under the double‑decker bridge, Moin‑ul‑Haq Stadium, and Shakha Maidan. The police urge citizens to use alternative routes.
After the rally, Modi is scheduled to visit the Takht Sri Harimandir Sahib Gurudwara in Patna City at about 6:45 p.m., a move that underscores the PM’s outreach to diverse communities.
Sunday will be a packed political day in Bihar. In addition to Modi’s rallies, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will speak at events in Muzaffarpur and Vaishali. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi will hold rallies in Begusarai and Khagaria, while Grand Alliance chief minister Tejashwi Yadav will attend multiple campaign stops across Munger, Patna, Vaishali and Saran. The state’s election frenzy promises high energy and widespread voter engagement.
