Jaipur, Nov 15 – Rajasthan is racing ahead in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Program for the 2026 electoral roll, turning paper count forms into digital records faster than any other state.
The Chief Electoral Officer says the state has already uploaded 9.5 million completed forms to the ECINET system. In that rush, Barmer, Dholpur and Ganganagar are the leaders, while Baran, Kota and Bundi still trail behind. Barmer and Raisinghnagar have digitised over 30 % of their forms, making them front‑runners. In contrast, Bhilwara and Vidyadhar Nagar have managed less than 8 % – putting them at the bottom of the list.
To close the gap, the Chief Electoral Officer has ordered all district election officers to speed up the process and give Booth Level Officers the technical support they need. The state already tops the country for online submissions, accounting for 55 % of all online forms in the 12 states and union territories participating in the SIR 2026 program.
So far, more than 133 000 forms have been filed online across Rajasthan. Hanumangarh and Ganganagar lead that figure, while Banswara and Dungarpur still lag.
Citizens are urged to use the online facility. To fill a SIR form on‑line, log in at the Election Commission’s Voter Service Portal (voters.eci.gov.in). Click “Special Intensive Revision (SIR)‑2026”, log in using your mobile number, email ID or EPIC number, then select “Fill Enumeration Form”. Pick Rajasthan and enter your EPIC number to pull up your details. Verify the pre‑filled information – name, EPIC, serial and constituency – and provide the OTP that arrives on the mobile number linked to your voter card. If your phone isn’t linked, update it first with Form 8.
OTP‑verification offers three options: match your name on last year’s list, match a parent’s or grandparent’s name, or indicate that no family members appeared on the previous list. Pick the correct option and finish the process.
With more digital uploads, Rajasthan is setting the tone for a smoother, faster electoral roll update.
