Uttarakhand officials are vowing to crack down hard on anyone caught up in the recent UKSSSC paper leak scandal. In Dehradun, Home Secretary Shailesh Bagoli promised the strictest possible action against those involved in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission irregularities. He stressed that this case marks the first test of the state’s new anti-cheating law, and the government’s response will send a strong message to deter future cheating attempts.
Bagoli told reporters, “The government will take the toughest steps against anyone tied to these illegal activities. This action will set a clear example.”
Meanwhile, Uttarakhand’s Director General of Police, Deepam Seth, shared updates on the probe. Police have sent out five teams to dig into the UKSSSC paper irregularities, and they’ve already gathered solid evidence. “The investigation is wrapping up soon, and we’ll hit those found guilty with strict measures,” Seth said.
The scandal came to light after someone apparently snapped photos of exam questions at a test center, despite security jammers in place. UKSSSC Chairman Ganesh Singh Martolia called it a targeted effort to help just one person. “How did this individual get close enough to take those photos with a jammer blocking signals? That’s a key question we’re chasing,” Martolia explained. He added that authorities are zeroing in on the main suspect, and once caught, the full picture will emerge. “No one involved will escape strict action.”
On the gang rumors swirling around the Uttarakhand paper leak, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh set the record straight. “We’ve heard talk of an organized cheating ring behind the leak, but our investigation hasn’t uncovered any such group,” Singh said. Instead, probes point to screenshots of questions sent from a single center. Police have detained two or three suspects for questioning, revealing that someone pulled this off in a deliberate way. The Uttarakhand cheating case continues to unfold as teams push for quick resolutions.
