Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson announced that they’re engaged after a festive White House Christmas reception. The younger Trump had just gotten down on one knee and the couple happily accepted.
When President Trump invited the two to speak, Donald Jr. paused, “Not often that I’m at a loss for words, because we usually do the ranting and raving really well, but this is a little different,” he told the guests.
He then thanked his fiancée for the single word, “Yes.” Anderson reflected that the weekend had been “the most unforgettable…I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel just like the luckiest girl in the world.”
This will be Donald Jr.’s second marriage. He and former wife Vanessa raised five children together, including 18‑year‑old Kai who recently debuted on the LPGA Tour and plans to play college golf next year.
After his 2018 divorce, the Trump heir began dating Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle and was engaged to her in 2020, but the partnership ended in 2023 when he started a new romance with Anderson, who is 39.
Bettina Anderson is the daughter of the late Harry Loy Anderson Jr., once the youngest bank president in America and a noted philanthropist of Palm Beach, who died in 2013. She earned a degree in art history, criticism and conservation from Columbia University in 2009.
