Jack Schlossberg, a Kennedy heir, said that his strange social‑media shenanigans aren’t random—they’re a deliberate “mirror” to the attacks that come his way, the family told The Post.
Schlossberg’s viral posts have raised eyebrows, from unsettling clips aimed at Second‑Lady Usha Vance to biting jabs at his cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and others. He insists such videos show that the same political, cultural, and personal slights aimed at his relatives are aimed at anyone, even himself.
While he’s turned his attention to politicians who back President Trump, Schlossberg has also taken shots at his own family, calling RFK Jr. a “rabid dog” and mocking his voice. His off‑beat content, which once mocked Usha Vance’s looks and jokingly announced he was “having a son,” has provoked discussions on whether his antics hurt his budding congressional run.
“We’ve always been objectified as a family, and what I’m doing is holding up a mirror,” he explained. “People see us as more than our titles—they’re real people, too.” He added that his videos were meant to make people think he’s “crazy” while also drawing attention to his stance.
Despite early claims that his posts might alienate voters, Schlossberg believes they actually build trust. “I think people are smarter than they give me credit for, and these videos show that I’m willing to risk everything when it matters,” he told The Post on Monday.
Months into his campaign, Schlossberg has toned down the more controversial rhetoric shown clips of shock humor and off‑center references. “I’ve shown a willingness to stick my neck out on behalf of our party and the causes we believe in, so I keep taking risks,” he said. “While some may be confused by my videos, the others hear the message loud and clear.”
