Attorney General Pam Bondi turned the heat on what she calls “progressive left idiots” for stoking anti‑Guard sentiment, vowing to check whether that rhetoric may have helped spur the Thanksgiving‑night ambush.
On Fox & Friends she slammed a wave of liberal lawmakers and media voices that have decried President Trump’s decision to station federal troops in Washington, D.C., calling their remarks “disgusting” and “despicable.” She noted that many of those critics even have security teams of their own.
In a tweet she repeated the administration’s stance, “We will not be threatened. We will not be intimidated.” Bondi added that if any lawmakers, anchors or guests have encouraged violence, the investigation will look into it.
