President Trump announced late Thursday that he plans to “permanently pause” migration from all “Third World Countries” so the United States can “fully recover,” in a sprawling Thanksgiving‑day post on Truth Social.
He said that, even with technological progress, immigration policy has eroded gains and living conditions for many, and that the pause would also end the millions of “illegal admissions” under Biden, including those he claims were signed by “Sleepy Joe”’s autopen. Trump further stated he would remove anyone who is not a net asset to the nation.
In the same thread, the former president declared his intention to cut federal benefits and subsidies for “noncitizens,” to “denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility,” and to deport any foreign national who poses a public charge, security risk, or is “non‑compatible with Western Civilization.”
He concluded that only “REVERSE MIGRATION” can truly fix the problem, wishing a “HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL” but warning those who “hate, steal, murder, and destroy everything that America stands for” that they won’t be around for long.
The remarks came after a fatal attack on two National Guard members near the White House, an incident investigators attribute to Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal.
