The film stars Rane alongside Sonam Bajwa and centers on love, obsession and heartbreak. “Deewaniyat,” produced by Anshul Garg of Desi Music Factory and co‑produced by Raghav Sharma, marks Garg’s feature‑film debut after a successful career in music. The screenplay was written by Mushtaq Shaikh and co‑written and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri.
