WhatsApp rolling out feature to disable multiple answers within polls on Windows beta

San Francisco, April 1 (Latestnewsx.com): WhatsApp, the popular messaging platform owned by Meta, has recently rolled out a new feature on its Windows beta version. The latest feature aims to improve the accuracy of polls by allowing poll creators to disable multiple answers within a poll.

As per reports from WABetaInfo, a new option has been introduced in the poll creator that enables users to force other participants to select only one answer. This feature ensures that respondents choose the option they strongly believe in, resulting in more accurate and relevant polls.

The new feature is especially useful for queries that require only one response, making the poll more targeted and specific. It has already been made available to some beta testers for Android and iOS.

The ability to disable multiple answers within polls is currently available for some beta testers who have installed the latest WhatsApp beta update for Windows on the Microsoft Store. The feature is expected to be rolled out to more users in the coming days, as per the report.

This new development is part of WhatsApp’s efforts to continuously enhance the user experience by introducing new features and updates. Last month, the messaging platform launched a “multi-selection” feature for messages on Windows beta. Users can now select multiple messages by clicking on “Select” within the context menu of a conversation, or by clicking anywhere within the conversation and selecting the “Select messages” option.

The latest poll feature by WhatsApp is a step towards creating more accurate and relevant polls. With the ability to disable multiple answers, users can ensure that the responses received are targeted and specific. As WhatsApp continues to introduce new features, users can look forward to an enhanced messaging experience.
